Nicole Perry is in her final year of the journalism program at TRU with a continuing passion for seeking out stories that usually fly under the radar. The drive to uncover truths in the public interest and right societal wrongs in doing so has led her to pursue this career trajectory. Writing fiction was a childhood hobby of hers, and with the program, she has discovered her love of interviewing and getting to know real people. Her goal now is to write feature stories that combine descriptive narrations with the true tales found among people whose voices may not otherwise be heard.
